With 137 components, I was able to make 10 T’au Pathfinders, a Pulse Accelerator Drone, a Grav-inhibitor Drone and a Recon Drone. And the best part? They can all be built in different ways! Wowza! What a fantastic product from Games Workshop. The T’au Empire Pathfinder Team is definitely worth every penny. With 10 Pathfinders included in the kit, you have the option to build them in various poses – kneeling, crouching or standing. And let’s not forget about the weapons – pulse carbines, rail rifles and ion rifles. But my personal favorite is the Recon Drone that comes with this set. It’s massive and can even be mounted on a Devilfish tank (sold separately). Talk about firepower!

1. Understand the Basics
Before diving into purchasing any models, it’s important to have a basic understanding of the Tau Empire faction and their playstyle. The Tau are a technologically advanced alien race, known for their use of powerful ranged weapons and advanced battlesuits.
When building your army, you can choose to focus on either infantry units or battlesuits, or a combination of both. It’s also important to note that the Tau are not as strong in close combat, so it’s best to keep your units at a distance.
2. Start with the ‘Start Collecting’ Box
The best way to kickstart your Tau Empire collection is by purchasing the ‘Start Collecting’ box set. This set includes three XV8 Crisis Battlesuits, ten Fire Warriors, and an exclusive Ethereal on Hover Drone model.
